surprising pasta

today we want to introduce you some surprising pasta.
in the italian restaurant RIMINI or Pane which is next to each other in myeongdong,
you can try the cream pasta inside of a bread- which you can eat together with the creamsauce
at the end too :)
the other one is a frutti di mare pasta with a tomato sauce base covered by
an indian naan like dough.
both cost around 10,000 KRW each which is really reasonable regarding the size of it.

chi va piano, va sano e va lontano

pasta day :)
we visited the lotte department store in cheongryangri, which is not far from anam,
to try out the delicious pasta at vapiano, a chain restaurant from germany,
with branches in 39 countries in the world.
the name vapiano is inspired by an old italian saying
"chi va piano, va sano e va lontano"
(if you enjoy your life, you will live healthier and longer).
they offer various kinds of pasta, pizza, salad and really nice deserts, too.
the unique thing about vapiano: there are no waiters!
when you enter the restaurant, you will get your own card on which you have to save
your ordered stuff and show it afterwards when you leave to pay.
the good thing about vapiano is that you can choose the pasta sauce and even the sort of noodles.
we went there with our friend livia who chose the pasta funghi with linguine noodles.
we chose the special arrabiata (our recommendation <3 ) with tagliatelle and the other one with linguine noodles. YUMMY

check out if there's vapiano in your city :)

look at my umbrella

since it seems like it will never stop raining again, we keep on checking out the umbrellas in seoul.
we just found two we like a lot. they are both umbrellas of the clear type with dots on it!
the first one is the umbrella with aquamarine/ mint green dots.
the pastel color really makes it warm, cute and nice.

the dots of the other umbrella are smaller and in black. this one has the mix of cool and cute
and is really nice because it
will always match your outfit :)

this makes one really like to design own umbrellas...... <3

so much rain....where is the rainbow??

you can stand under my umbrella♥

this weather usually keeps on making us feel tired but there is no time for being lazy at home:)
so many things to do : visit cafés and food places we've never been before,
talk about boiling beans and places we want to visit.
typhoon mary should have arrived today but there was no sign of rainstorm yet.
colorful umbrellas on the streets of seoul.
many different colors, many different patterns such as raindrops, flowers, stripes or illustrations.
the most popular ones in seoul right now seem to be either those with illustrations
or clear ones, that are also available in different colors.
it's fun to look at each umbrella on the street.
it could make you feel dizzy after a while though :)

sweet potato cake

 rainy day.
perfect time to visit a pretty café with a good friend and to enjoy a pretty and delicous cake. while making plans for boiling beans we enjoyed a sweet potatoe cake we were craving since a few days ago.  watching people outside walking around with some pretty umbrellas inspired us to make a "monsoon special" which we will start in the next few days.
